A Lifetime in Harmony

Formed in 1972 at the Kharkov Conservatory, the Mogilevski Duo — violinist Mark Mogilevski and pianist Elena Mogilevski — quickly rose to prominence in the Soviet classical scene. Guided by the USSR’s top music educators, they became acclaimed performers, winning numerous national and international competitions, including the prestigious Paganini Competition in Genoa.Their success led to performances in major concert halls across the USSR and Europe, with standout recitals in Lisbon, Paris, and Montpellier praised for their passion and precision. Since settling in Australia in 1995, they’ve become a vital part of the classical music community, appearing at national festivals, university series, and on ABC’s Sunday Live.With over five decades of collaboration, the Mogilevski Duo continues to enchant audiences through expressive, world-class chamber music.
